Seminario Marco Rossi - A personal view of integrable models
10 January 2024,16:30- Physical Seminar Series Announcement!
I will explain my understanding on quantum integrable models. Focussing on two examples, I will illustrate in which sense these models are exactly solvable. Even if integrable models are defined in 1+1 dimensions, techniques used to solve them find nice applications in diverse fields of theoretical physics. I will discuss very briefly two of them: spectral problem of Schroedinger equations and quasinormal modes of black holes.
Venue: Seminar Room, Department of Physics, Building 31 C, 4th Floor.
